UVX4000 waterproof membrane is an industrial grade, permanent flexible membrane used as both a waterproof membrane and thermal barrier. It is engineered for roof, floor and wall substrates to reduce heat absorption into buildings, offering energy savings to building owners. It also offers a high build application that provides a flexible seamless finish that can withstand harsh and varying climatic conditions. Cureflex UVX4000 waterproof membrane provides benefits of a durable sheet membrane with the unique feature of a multi layer seamless finish; eliminating joints, overlaps and other risk points associated with welding and abutting traditional sheet membrane systems.
UVX4000 waterproof membrane is suitable for permanent exposure to varying climate conditions and UV light. It’s designed as a 100% trafficable membrane that cures with a rough course surface that provides an excellent non-slip property.
UVX4000 waterproof membrane has strong adhesion properties and remains extremely flexible after curing.

INTRODUCTION
Cureflex® UVX4000 is an industrial grade, flexible membrane that doubles as both a waterproof membrane and thermal barrier.
Cureflex® UVX 4000 is engineered for applications over roof, floor and wall substrates to reduce heat absorption into buildings, providing potential energy savings to home or business owners.
It offers a high-build application that leaves a flexible and seamless finish that can withstand harsh and varying climatic conditions. It can be applied externally over floor surfaces or on pitched or flat roof areas.
Cureflex® UVX4000 provides the benefits of a durable sheet membrane with the unique feature of a multi-layer, seamless finish. This eliminates joins, overlaps and other risk points associated with welding and abutting traditional sheet membrane systems.
Cureflex® UVX4000 can withstand permanent exposure in varying climate conditions and UV light. It is designed as a 100% trafficable membrane that cures with a rough, course surface that provides excellent non-slip properties.
TYPICAL AREAS OF USE
- Applications over Insitu® shower bases, niches and balcony panels
- Bathrooms, ensuite, powder rooms (as a second coat over SLR2000).
- Balconies, terraces and facades (as a second coat over SLR2000).
- Portable buildings/workshops
- Farming sheds/storage buildings.
- Factories and warehouses.
PREPARATION & APPLICATION
- All substrates must be clean and free from any contaminants before application.
- Suitable for applications on porous surfaces when primed using Cureflex® PG57.
- Suitable for applications on non-porous surfaces when primed using Cureflex® LS151.
- 2 coats is recommended for general wet area applications (minimum coverage of 1.5L/m2 ).
- Requires a suitable bond breaker at all substrate junctions, usually applied on the first coat (Cureflex® Flexiban recommended).
